At Las Sendas Animal Hospital & Grooming, we are proud to provide complete veterinary care for your pets. Our hand-picked, highly trained doctors and staff members strive to provide an unparalleled level of care each and every day. As a team, we embrace a core set of values that serve as our foundation for ensuring delivery of high quality, compassionate veterinary care that your pet deserves.

Dr. Amanda Liesse

I have spent the majority of my life in the Chicago suburbs. I attended Iowa State University for my undergraduate work, and graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. I worked for three years at a busy small animal veterinary hospital in Crystal Lake, Illinois before relocating to Phoenix.

I love all aspects of veterinary medicine, but take special interest in the area of canine rehabilitation – an area of expertise that focuses on physical therapy and alternative modalities for many orthopedic and/or neurologic conditions. Canine rehabilitation treatment is designed to optimize movement and improve the quality of life for the dog.I also greatly enjoy communicating with clients and helping to build the human-animal bond.

My hobbies include biking, hiking and spending quality time with my dogs, two Australian shepherds (Izzy and Cooper). I’m proud to be a part of the AZ Pet Vet and Las Sendas families, and I look forward to meeting you and your pets soon.

Dr. Breann Flores

Dr. Breeann Flores is an Arizona native. She worked with AZ Pet Vet as a kennel assistant and technician throughout high school and college. She went to Arizona State University and received a Bachelor in Science then off to Colorado State University for her veterinary degree. Dr. Flores returned to AZ Pet Vet to start her veterinary career. After working for six years she moved to a small town on the Northern California coastline to practice. She is returning to sunny Arizona and is joining the team at Las Sendas Animal Hospital.

Her clinical interests include acupuncture, emergency medicine and exotics. She shares her home with four rescue dogs, 2 cats and 5 tortoises. In her free time she and her husband enjoy backpacking and taking classes on cooking, bee keeping and gardening.
