Dr. Christina Wensman

I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, so Arizona is certainly a contrast for me. I attended California State at Long Beach for my undergraduate work, and received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University with my clinical year at Oklahoma State in 2016.

I started my career in the veterinary field working as a vet assistant, and today I am a veterinarian focusing on general health and wellness in small animals. In particular, I am interested in Internal Medicine and Wound Management.

I live with my three cats and my dog. I enjoy going to the gym, as well as sports, anything to do with water (like scuba diving), and I love to travel. I’m very excited to join the AZ Pet Vet family! Next time you and your pet visit Signal Butte, be sure to say hello!

Dr. John Graham

Dr. Graham has traveled far and wide over the course of his training and career. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Graham attended the University of Western Ontario to obtain his bachelor's of health science degree. Dr. Graham attended veterinary school at Ross University, completing his clinical training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After obtaining his DVM, Dr. Graham completed a 1-year rotating internship in medicine and surgery at the VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona.

Dr. Graham began working immediately following his internship training and couldn't be more excited to finally settle in the wonderful state of Arizona. Outside of work, Dr. Graham enjoys just about everything this beautiful state has to offer but particularly enjoys mountain biking, hiking and camping.

Dr. Scott Barnard

Dr. Scott Barnard was born and raised in Ohio and received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Ohio State University in 1990. Upon graduation, he moved to North Carolina where he practiced small animal medicine for 17 years - four of those being spent in emergency/ trauma medicine. Dr. Barnard was also the treasurer for the North Carolina Academy of Small Animal Medicine from 1995-2006 and is a member of the AVMA. His special interests include critical care, geriatric medicine, cardiology, dermatology, surgery and small animal exotics (ferrets, rabbits, and small rodents). Dr. Barnard believes the key to good veterinary care is compassion with an emphasis on offering state of the art veterinary medicine along with client education. Dr Barnard is married to his high school sweetheart, Carolyn, and they have four children: Zachary, Joshua, Jacob, and Rebecca. In his spare time, Dr. Barnard enjoys being an assistant coach for his children's baseball and softball teams, swimming, and other various outdoor activities with their two dogs Sid and Emma.
